What is taekwondo coaching in Singapore?
Taekwondo coaching in Singapore teaches the Korean martial art's stances, kicks, poomsae and controlled sparring for children and adults, alongside discipline and fitness. Sessions are tailored to each student's belt level and goals — recreational practice, belt grading, or school CCA and competitive participation — coached islandwide one-to-one or in small groups.
The essentials
What is Taekwondo Coaching?
Taekwondo coaching in Singapore teaches the Korean martial art's stances, kicks, poomsae (patterns) and sparring for children and adults, alongside discipline and fitness. Sessions follow World Taekwondo (WT) standards (Kukkiwon-recognised dan grades), the Taekwondo style organised globally by World Taekwondo and locally by the Singapore Taekwondo Federation (STF), the national body recognised by Sport Singapore (SportSG). Coaching aligns to the MOE CCA framework and the MOE Physical Education syllabus, supporting recreational practice, belt grading and school CCA or competitive participation.

Good to know
Things parents ask us first
Technique before power
Strong taekwondo is built on stance, footwork and accurate basics. Coaching prioritises clean fundamentals before speed and power, which also reduces injury risk and produces better grading results.
Grading standards are set by the certifying body
Coaching prepares the poomsae and technique expected for the next belt, but gradings, schedules and certification are administered by the relevant taekwondo organisation, not by Eduprime.
Sparring is coached in person for safety
Theory, poomsae and conditioning can be supported online, but contact and sparring drills are conducted in person at a suitable venue with appropriate protective gear.
