Tutor recruitment FAQ
Do I need to be NIE-trained or an ex-MOE teacher to apply?
No. NIE training or MOE classroom experience is welcomed and helps with pay, but it is not required. We match students to graduate tutors, undergraduates and experienced private tutors as well.
Is tutoring with Eduprime full-time or part-time?
It is a flexible, part-time contract arrangement. You choose how many students you take and when you teach — most tutors teach on weekday evenings or weekends.
Can I teach online, in person, or both?
Both. You set your own coverage area and decide whether you prefer in-person lessons near you, online lessons island-wide, or a mix.
How and when am I paid?
You are paid per hour in SGD on a clear, agreed schedule. Rates depend on the subject, level and your experience — see the pay table above for indicative ranges.
How do I apply?
