Refund and Cancellation Policy
How cancellations, lesson changes and refunds work at Eduprime, in plain words.
Last updated: 29 September 2026
This policy covers every learner who studies with Eduprime, whether you signed up yourself or someone registered you. Here, "you" means the learner, or the person who arranged and paid for the lessons.
At a glance
- Cancel before the first lesson and every dollar you paid for lessons comes back to you.
- Stop whenever you like, and every unused lesson you paid for is refunded.
- Move or cancel a lesson free of charge with at least 24 hours of notice.
- Ask for a new tutor at any time. Tutor replacement is always free.
- Refunds are issued within 7 business days, back to the card or wallet you paid with.

Cancelling before the first lesson
Changed your mind before lessons begin? Cancel any time before your first lesson and we refund everything you paid for lessons, in full.
If your invoice includes a one-time registration fee, that fee comes back to you as well, as long as we have not yet matched and introduced a tutor to you. Once a tutor has been matched and introduced, the registration fee is kept, and every lesson fee still comes back to you in full.
We issue the refund within 7 business days of your request.
Stopping partway through a package
Plans change, and you can stop whenever you like. Lessons already taught in the current month are charged at the single-lesson rate, because the package discount belongs to a complete package. Every unused lesson you have paid for is then refunded to you.
Here is how that looks. Say you paid for a package of 8 lessons and stop after 3. We recalculate those 3 lessons at the single-lesson rate, and the rest of what you paid comes back to you.
If you prefer, keep the balance as credit for another subject or programme with us. Just tell us which you would like. Unused paid lessons and credit never expire.
We issue the refund within 7 business days of your request.
Moving or cancelling a single lesson
Move or cancel any lesson free of charge by telling your tutor or us at least 24 hours before it starts.
With less than 24 hours to go, message us anyway and we will work with your tutor to find a new time. If the lesson cannot be moved, it counts as taught. The same applies when the learner misses a lesson without telling us: the tutor waits 15 minutes, and after that the lesson counts as taught.
That is the only late-cancellation rule we apply. There are no extra charges on top of it.
When the problem is on our side
If your tutor cancels or misses a lesson, we move it to a new time at no cost, and it never counts against your lessons.
You can ask for a new tutor at any time and for any reason, and the replacement is free. Your rate stays the same unless you choose a tutor in a different fee tier, and we always tell you before anything changes.
If we cannot give you a tutor you are happy with within 14 days of your request, we refund every unused lesson and the registration fee, in full, within 7 business days.
How to ask for a refund
Email hello@eduprime.sg or message us on WhatsApp at +65 8486 0140. Our contact form works too. Please include:
- The learner's name
- Your invoice number
- Which lessons you would like refunded, or simply that you are stopping
We confirm your request within 1 business day and tell you the exact amount before we send it.
How long it takes and where the money goes
We issue approved refunds within 7 business days. Payments made by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay go back to the same card or wallet you paid with, and your bank usually shows the credit within 5 to 10 business days after that. If you paid another way, the refund returns through that same method.
Refunds are made in Singapore dollars, for the amount you paid us. We never deduct processing fees from your refund. If your card is billed in another currency, your bank's exchange rate on the day can make the final figure differ slightly.
Would you rather keep the amount as credit for future lessons? Tell us and we will hold it for you. We only switch a refund to credit when you ask for it.
What is non-refundable
Put simply, these are the only things we keep:
- Lessons already taught.
- Lessons counted as taught under the 24-hour rule above.
- The one-time registration fee, once a tutor has been matched and introduced and you are the one who cancels.
- The package discount for a month you stop early (taught lessons in that month are charged at the single-lesson rate).
Everything else you paid for lessons comes back to you.
