Do I need to be NIE-trained or graduated to tutor as an SUSS student?
No. This role is built for current SUSS undergraduates and postgraduates. Strong command of your subject and a reliable schedule matter more than formal teaching credentials.
Can I really fit this around lectures and exams?
Yes. You choose how many students you take and when you teach. Most student tutors teach on weekday evenings or weekends and scale down during exam periods.
Do I teach near the Clementi campus or online?
Both. You can teach in person near Clementi and the surrounding estates, or online island-wide — whichever fits your week.
How and how much am I paid?
Per hour in SGD on a clear, agreed schedule. The rate depends on the subject, level and your experience.
