The role
What you will do
- Plan and deliver 1-to-1 or small-group Economics lessons aligned to the MOE syllabus.
- Diagnose each student’s gaps and build a focused, measurable learning plan.
- Drill exam technique for H1/H2 A-Level Economics and IB Economics.
- Set and mark practice work, and give clear written feedback.
- Share regular, honest progress updates with parents.
Who we are looking for
- A relevant degree, or an Education qualification, in the subject area.
- NIE-trained tutors and MOE ex-teachers are strongly preferred.
- Solid familiarity with H1/H2 A-Level Economics and IB Economics and the latest MOE syllabus.
- At least 1 year of tutoring or classroom teaching experience.
- Based in Singapore and eligible to work here.
- Reliable, organised, and genuinely good with students.
Pay
Pay range
S$45 – S$110 per hour
Actual rate depends on level taught, your qualifications and experience (NIE-trained / MOE ex-teacher / graduate), and lesson format. Higher levels (JC / A-Level / IB) sit at the upper end of the range.
