North Singapore, as a tutor works it, is the Woodlands–Sembawang–Yishun belt running along the Johor Strait: three large HDB planning areas strung together by the top of the North-South Line, with Marsiling, Admiralty, Canberra and Khatib filling the gaps between them. Woodlands is the URA-designated Northern Regional Centre and the densest of the three: Republic Polytechnic and Singapore Sports School sit up at Woodlands North, with primary and secondary campuses packed around Woodlands Ring and Marsiling. Yishun is the mature end, anchored by Chongfu School on the SAP track and Yishun Innova Junior College, so a tutor here can hold PSLE, O-Level and A-Level students inside a two-kilometre radius. Sembawang is the youngest, with Canberra estate still filling out and its demand skewed to lower primary. Most learners live in middle-income HDB estates, and many homes have an adult working across the Causeway or in the Woodlands and Sungei Kadut industrial belts, which pushes lessons towards evenings.

The heaviest single block in the region: Sembawang and Canberra's newer estates keep feeding P4–P6 cohorts into schools like Endeavour, Wellington and Canberra Primary, and pupils here typically start Maths and Science support as early as P4.
Mother Tongue (Higher Chinese)
Chongfu School's Special Assistance Plan track in Yishun creates a concentrated Higher Chinese and bicultural demand that is unusual outside the traditional SAP clusters, and it spills over to feeder-conscious pupils across Khatib and Yishun Ave 6.
O-Level
Woodlands and Yishun secondary campuses generate steady Sec 3–4 demand in E-Maths, A-Maths and Combined Science, with a visible spike in the Woodlands Ring and Riverside catchments after the Sec 3 streaming year.
A-Level
Yishun Innova Junior College is the only JC serving the whole northern belt, so H2 Maths, Chemistry and Economics requests from J1–J2 students concentrate around Yishun and Khatib instead of spreading thinly.
