Chinese tutor jobs in West Singapore with Eduprime cover Chinese Language from primary to secondary, taught face to face in the learner's home or online, with one learner per lesson. - Coach PSLE Chinese Language 0005 across composition, language use, comprehension over two passages, listening and the oral paper worth 25% of the grade.
- Prepare Foundation Chinese 0025 learners for an oral paper weighted 55%, reading a passage aloud and holding a conversation about a short video clip.
- Build Higher Chinese 0015 skills in compositions of 200 or more characters and in correcting wrongly written characters and misused words.
- Mark O-Level Chinese 1160 practice: emails of 150 characters, essays of 300 or more characters, and exercises replacing misused words in context.
- Train Higher Chinese 1116 candidates for essays of 500 or more characters including speeches, an 80-character summary, and a two-minute oral presentation followed by discussion.
- Rehearse e-Oral conditions with learners: ten minutes of preparation, silent reading of the passage, then a conversation built on a video stimulus, at home or online.
- Plan secondary lessons toward the SEC from 2027, where Chinese K320 and Higher Chinese K355 sit their written papers in one September sitting.

Serving MOE teachers need MOE approval before taking paid tuition. Lessons run at the learner's home or online, and online lessons are taught from Singapore.

Which Chinese papers can I coach?
You choose them in your tutor profile. At PSLE the options are Chinese Language 0005, Higher Chinese 0015 and Foundation Chinese 0025; at secondary, the 2026 O-Level papers are Chinese 1160, Higher Chinese 1116 and Chinese B 1153. Each paper weighs skills differently: Higher Chinese 0015 has no oral or listening paper, while Foundation Chinese 0025 gives its oral 55% of the marks. List the levels you can coach with confidence, and requests reach you only for those levels.

Can I teach PSLE Chinese oral online when the exam is an e-Oral?
Yes. The PSLE Chinese Language 0005 and Foundation Chinese 0025 orals have run as e-Orals since 2017, so learners already face a screen in the exam. In 0005, candidates get ten minutes to read the passage silently and watch a video clip, then read aloud for 20 marks and hold a conversation for 30. Online lessons can follow that same sequence with a shared clip and a timer. Mark online lessons as available in your profile, and the team can propose you for them.
Where in the West do lessons take place, and can some be online?
Home lessons happen in the learner's own home in the West, and online lessons are one-to-one too. Home lessons follow the areas you choose, so a tutor living near Jurong East can list nearby estates and keep travel short. Jurong East is the interchange where the East-West Line meets the North-South Line, and Stage 1 of the Jurong Region Line is expected to open around mid-2028, adding stations across the region. Will the SEC from 2027 change what I teach in Sec 3 and Sec 4?
The papers take new codes and a new sitting date. From 2027 the N(T), N(A) and O-Level examinations are replaced by one examination, the Singapore-Cambridge SEC, with Chinese as K320 and Higher Chinese as K355 at G3. All Mother Tongue written papers move to one sitting each September, held alongside the English written papers. Plan written practice so learners peak before September, and list the G3 Chinese papers you coach in your tutor profile so requests match them.
