Teach Geography across Singapore, from lower secondary to JC

Geography asks a student to think in two registers at once. One register follows physical systems: how water, rock, air and heat move and slowly remake a place. The other follows people: where they settle, how they travel, what they draw out of the ground and what they leave on it. In Singapore both registers live inside one subject and both are examined, whether the student sits the full O-Level paper (2279), carries Geography as the elective beside Social Studies in the Humanities combination (2260), or reads it at junior college as H1 (8834) or H2 (9173). Geographical investigations add a third demand: the student gathers data and then has to argue from it honestly.
